In the office, character can make or break a team. You might be in an all-star team with impressive skills, but if you can’t work together, progress can’t be made. A great way to ensure that you are a great asset to your team and from a larger perspective- the company you work for, you have to be flexible.
This means being able to work with different people, under less than ideal circumstances. Being flexible can help not only your career, but others as well. It can make the team or group you’re in more well-rounded and productive. Flexibility requires putting other people’s needs before yours.
There are several ways to achieve this. An effective way is by going at your team’s pace. If you’re too slow or too fast for the rest of your workmates, collaboration is hindered and errors start to surface.
