5 Entrepreneurs Share Quotes on Success

5 Entrepreneurs Share Quotes on Success

I believe every entrepreneur’s road to success is unique no matter how similar the path may seem. Five successful entrepreneurs at the top of their respective industries share what they would do differently if they had to start over and share one habit you think leads to entrepreneurial success:

To be completely honest, nothing. I’m very happy with where I’m at, and I wouldn’t be here without having made the decisions I’ve made along the way. You only get one shot at life, but you have the power to make a new start at any point. So if you’re not happy with the way things are going, define your goals and galvanise a path forward.Marlon Kobacker, Director at Sustainable Future Group

Most of what I’ve learned to do differently has only come by way of experience. So it’s hard to go back in time when what you need is always ahead of you. – Scott Groza, Co-Founder of The Groza Learning Center[1]

I wouldn’t change anything. Any mistakes I’ve made have shaped me as a person and taught me what I know today. – Nadya Khoja, Visual Content and Digital Marketing Specialist at Venngage[2]

I would have brought our services to market faster, and the delay was due to myself and my team spending a good part of the first-year obsessing over every detail in order to be perfect to launch.Luigi Wewege, President and CEO of Vivier Group

There’s a lot of small things along my path to success that I would have changed or tried something different. If I were ever given the chance to start over, of course I would take it. The world changes every day, so why shouldn’t we? – Ian Leaf, Founder of Leaf Publishing

One habit you think leads to entrepreneurial success:

I firmly believe that taking the time to find a place that enables deep, creative thinking is a great habit for entrepreneurial success. This allows you to consider things that don’t yet exist, whether there’s a market for it and potential solutions that may have commercial value. I have a big A3 sketch pad that I get out to jot down ideas and connect concepts with messy squiggles. I take a picture and then digitise it to present to colleagues – and they will either tell me I’m crazy or on a goldmine. I believe that we have to challenge business as usual, because what we’re doing is literally unsustainable. And almost every time I find that the cost of not implementing my ideas is significant. – Marlon Kobacker

Persistence. A lot of people I’ve met (many who are my friends) will likely not find success because they give up too easily when things get rough. I also sometimes find myself giving up too quickly, but upon reflecting I realize that in the moments where I didn’t take being ignored or rejected as absolute, I eventually did succeed in the task at hand. Persistence and constant questioning is what leads to growth. – Nadya Khoja

A successful habit is to always seek input from others to aide you in reaching the best possible decision for your start-up. This is due to entrepreneurship being about taking calculated risks, and you will always create better strategies if more facts and information go into the decision-making process. – Luigi Wewege

Commitment and care. Those are the things that really make the difference. When you embody these traits, you become someone others can count on and trust.  – Scott Groza

Learning focus and discipline. When you are pursuing a goal, it shoudn’t feel like work and you shouldn’t find yourself having to put the time in. However, it’s worth the time and effort to develop a fondation of discipline. – Ian Leaf
