    Unemployment is a prevailing global issue due to spikes in population growth and limited vacant positions. A great way to stay competitive and increase one’s chances in getting a job is through education.

    Many people are hooked on the success stories of individuals who became successful without finishing high school or going to college. Such stories are very inspiration and also very few, not to mention incredibly risky. Taking the chance of going through life without an educational foundation can make you prone to failure, or based on the infographic above, highly susceptible to long periods of unemployment.

    If you’re supporting a family or are in debt, such situations can be limiting and discouraging.

    A lesson we can learn from this is that a four-year investment in the form of a college degree can go a long way. In fact, it can literally last forever.
