It is widely known that women are paid less than their male counterparts in many jobs all over the world, and yet the situation still doesn’t seem to be improving. In the U.S. women are paid only 77 cents for every dollar their male peers earn, whilst in the European Union men earn around 16% more than women. In order to bring a little more attention to the problem The Zurich Women’s Center (Zürcher Frauenzentrale) in Switzerland decided to show men exactly what it’s like to be given less money than they deserve or asked for.
