Is social media a fad? Some sectors of the business world are still in doubt whether social media will last. If it’s just a trend, a bubble which can burst anytime, why are people shocked by facts about it’s influence that even highly commendable institutions of learning have stopped distributing email accounts. Instead, these universities are now distributing iPads, eReaders, and Tablets. All because they are convinced that social media is an all-encompassing force the world cannot ignore.
