Rapportive is a social hub, unlike the direction we are seeing from Blackberry and Microsoft. It pulls contextual information about whomever you are communicating with, and presents it to you in an useful form.
When you open an email window, and put a person in the “to:” field, Rapportive pulls all the social media intel it can find based on that person’s profile, and delivers it to you. It contains a really useful mix or related information.
