When it comes to PCs, there are three major browsers that take up the majority of the market share: Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox. Of these three, two have embraced Windows 8’s new modern app format. Firefox has held out…at least until now.
Though the Windows 8 app (formerly known as metro) version of Firefox hasn’t been released yet, it is available for the intrepid few who are willing to deal with a bug or two. If you want to try it out, download and install the latest Nightly Build of Firefox. When you head to your Start screen, don’t expect to find a Firefox tile; the one you need is called Nightly.
Give it a try and see what you think, but keep in mind, this is not a complete version. You may find a bug or error as you browse. Though that may be annoying, you’ll be getting an early glance at this software before most even know it exists.
