I’m really posting this list from About.com for the first suggestion of SharpKeys – a little program that let’s you reorganize your Windows keyboard.

Ron White suggests you use it to move that bleeding Caps Lock key and replace it with something you’ll actually use.

My Caps Lock now functions as another Delete key. The arrangement lets me kill files by mousing over them with my right hand and zapping them with my left.

I’m thinking about using this to swap some other keys to make them more ‘mac-like’ while I use my PC and iBook simultaneously with the same keyboard and mouse [with a Mac/PC app called Synergy].

Currently I have to switch from Alt+C to Ctrl+V to cut and paste from the Mac to the PC [using another handy app called ShareClip]. It’d be nice to use the same shortcuts on both computers.

Some of the other apps in the list include the excellent Maxthon browser and the Explorer re-vamp, Xplorer2. Worth checking out to alleviate those little annoyances you’re still dealing with.
