Outlook users have always had to be part programmer in order to get the most out of Outlook’s email filtering. In order to effectively minimise spam and non-essential email dozens of filters had to be created.
They looked with a great deal of envy at Gmail when Google flexed it’s search and analytics muscle and rebuilt Gmail to automatically identify important email, and parse out non-essential email.
