I can’t stand the taste of coffee and avoid it at all costs, but I’m a rare case in the writing community, which is filled with more coffee drinkers than most other industries. Of course, we’re only ranked forth (though those working in the industry are also some of the most likely to flavor their coffee).
Scientists, marketers and those working in the administration side of education are even heavier coffee drinkers than most writers. These days though, coffee drinkers are the majority in practically all professions. In fact, 61% of all workers say they need two cups of coffee just to make it through the work day.
