It’s cold, dark and you need cheering up. Fancy some pillow-soft, gooey and chewy marshmallow shot glasses? Of course you do!
Food blogger Cheri Alberts of The Watering Mouth saw a friend post a picture of the creations and was determined to try it out. She shares her recipe with her readers and shares a handy easy to follow video.
All you need is large marshmallows, any flavour liqueur, two forks, a plate and an open fire, electric burner or gas stove.
Toast the marshmallow over an open flame or a hot electric cooker, holding it in place with a fork. Cook until it turns a golden brown.
As the bundles of gooey fun cool down, they will cave inwards creating the shape of a perfect shot glass.
Next, fill it up with your favourite liqueur – or chocolate milk for children – and drink immediately. If you are like me, you may have to try this a few times to get it right!
