National Geographic Creative photographer and North Face athlete Cory Richards has had an unusual path to get to his current career. A high school drop-out, Richards had to get his education from his own experiences. With no other way to express himself, he turned to photography to interpret and try to understand his interactions and adventures with the world. With a passion for capturing the human experience at its boldest, Richards takes the viewer through his process as a photographer, and what it means to embrace discomfort in order to create his stunning photographs.
