Yener Torun is a 32 year old architect living in Istanbul for 14 years. He has been sharing his fascination with color blocked exteriors. His wildly popular and colorful photos infuse the city’s architectural landscape and proove that there is another side to Instanbul.
A great deal of simplicity lies in these pictures. They are simple compositions with very few elements. Minimalism helps you to focus on the thing you want to achieve and leave everything else behind.

Inspiration
Yemer Torun, the photographer usually visited industrial areas and developing urban neighborhoods of the city because they provided modern lines, colors, and geometry. Since there is a massive growth in construction business in Istanbul, he dug every corner of the city to unearth the colorful gems. It isn’t an easy task because a majority of they new buildings are grey and dull. These developing areas are usually very far from the center.
