Legos are such perfectly shaped little building blocks that anything can be made from them, from cars to statues, even whole life sized building can be made out of Legos so it’s no wonder that they’re such a perfect tool for teaching and learning. This infographic by OnlineCollege.org shows us how Lego bricks enhance early childhood education by teaching kids to think in three dimensions, developing problem solving and creativity, and helping kids learn how to follow directions. Lego has a Learning Institute that caters to every age group from preschool to university helping kids learn and be creative through play, and studies have shown that kids who integrate Lego bricks into their education grow up to have better fine-motor skills, logic and reasoning, problem solving abilities and a better grasp of engineering and mathematics. These reasons and more are what make Legos such a powerful tool for learning.
