Sometimes getting a greasy hamburger with fries is the only way to satisfy a craving. If burgers can’t get the job done, maybe you prefer different options like burritos or sub sandwiches. Whatever kind of fast food appeals to your sensibilities, be sure to check out what Consumer Reports managed to compile after surveying over 32,000 foodies. They conducted an exhaustive poll to categorize the winners and losers of the fast food world across the most popular offerings: chicken, sandwiches/subs, burgers, and burritos.

Strength in numbers can’t trump quality in some of these examples. Despite the obvious advantage that major chains have over their less regionally dispersed competitors, it is interesting to note that all the big players are sitting at the bottom of the lists. McDonald’s, KFC, and Taco Bell got poor marks compared to the quality provided by other eateries like Chick-fil-A, In-N-Out, and Chipotle Mexican Grill.
