Medical Checkups Througout The Years

When you’re a youngster, you may need a few medical checkups and vaccinations here and there, but doctors visits are generally reserved for injuries and sickness. As you get older though, preventative checkups take greater and greater importance in your continual health.

This infographic provides a useful guide to the different checkups you will need throughout your life, including what health risks you face during that stage of your life and how often you should be getting medical checkups for these specific conditions.

While it’s easy to ignore checkups in your 20s,30s and 40s, remember that one in ten cancers is diagnosed in people of these age groups and that early detection can be key in catching a cancer while it is still treatable. It’s a lot easier to go to the doctor for a quick preventative checkup than it is to head to the hospital for a tumor.
