New York actress Eva DeVirgilis became a make up artist seven years ago in order to make ends meet between acting jobs. What she didn’t expect was to find a new passion in her part time job: making women feel beautiful with or without make up. Eva describes her job as “treading in the deep end of a shallow profession”: she documents what women have said whilst sat in her chair, most of whom have apologised for their faces. She wants you all to know that you are beautiful no matter what you have on your face, no matter what facial features you were born with, no matter what ingrained thoughts you have about your appearance. You are beautiful.
