Everyone knows that young people are able to learn things much more quickly than older people. That’s why kids can learn a foreign language so quickly, and why your six year old can use your iPad more adeptly than you can. The way that this happens, though, is truly remarkable and fascinating. Your brain makes changes and continues to develop into old age, but the first six years of your life are the most important for brain development. This is due to the way that your brain grows. Neurons in children’s brains are still growing, making kids more able to learn more quickly.
