As a millennial child, my knowledge of the 80’s is based entirely off my elders’ shame-filled mutterings about perms and Bon Jovi. Kevin Bacon is not okay with this blatant disregard for the 80’s and so whilst at the South By Southwest Festival he teamed up with Mashable to promote awareness to the kids born after 1985 who “will never know the comfort of parachute pants”.
