More and more people these days are looking to electric vehicles (EVs) as a greener alternative to gas-guzzling cars. But is the electric car really as green as it’s seen to be? For the purposes of this infographic there are two main types of EVs:
BEV = Battery Electric Vehicle (no gasoline engine)
PHEV = Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (has a gasoline engine and an electric engine)
