“How much do we know about peace?”
In this video from Vision For Humanity Steve Killelea, the Founder and Executive Chairman of the Institute for Economics and Peace, and other researchers discuss the reality and importance of finding peace. They also introduce the institutes main study: the Global Peace Index which includes an interactive map that displays where the most peaceful places on Earth have been for the last five years and how those places are achieving peace.
Between 2008 and 2013, Iceland was ranked as the most peaceful country however mainland Europe’s peace levels have changed drastically. The United States Of America have remained quite low down on the rankings, usually falling between 99 and 105 out of 162. Where does your home rank on the peace index?
