Who wouldn’t want to see their favorite band perform in a private concert? Everyone knows that famous artists require a hefty fee for performing — essentially when you book a band for a private show, you are buying every ticket for a concert they could be playing instead. Acts like Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, One Direction, and Kanye West play huge arenas every night that they tour, so you’ll essentially be buying hundreds or thousands of seats. Swift and Springsteen will run you in the ballpark of a million dollars each, while West and One Direction would cost around $500,000 and $200,000, respectively. If you’re a fan of 90s alternative, though, you’re in luck, because a great deal of bands from this genre are found in the twenty-grand range. This is still a large expense, sure, but wouldn’t you rather Edwin McCain sing ¨I’ll Be¨ at your wedding than a middle aged guy in an ill-fitting suit?
Keep in mind, though, that in addition to the fees for performance, you will likely have to pay for travel and accommodations for the artists which will likely put a huge dent in your bank account.
