Recording artist Usher recently swung by Sesame Street to teach Elmo all about helping others and what it means to be a “volunteer”. Usher explains to Elmo and to us that a volunteer is simply someone who helps out others without wanting anything in return, which is always an important trait to remember and act upon no matter how old you are! Usher uses examples such as an octopus who’s helping paint a door and a penguin carrying someone else’s groceries.
