When I was a child, my grandmother used to keep a small, pocket-sized kaleidoscope in the car to keep my brother and I quiet and distracted whilst she drove. These old kaleidoscopes were created using mirrors inside a cylinder with loose coloured objects such as beads. These days, there are numerous ways to create kaleidoscopes. Youtuber Jong Chool Do displays a particularly creative on in this video! Using a camera hooked up to a television, an infinite kaleidoscope is created with endless possibilities and images available to the user! If you have the equipment needed, you can even try this yourself.
