Dining Etiquette 101

Dining Etiquette 101

While being able to eat without your elbows on the table is a useful skill to have in case you have to attend a very formal event, it seems to have faded from everyday life. The increasing availability of fast food and TV dinners, coupled with a busy modern world that doesn’t always give you the time to actually eat at a table much less remember which fork goes where has left the average human a little lacking in the dining etiquette department. And when it comes to setting a table for more than one (pre-packaged) course, I’d wager many of us would be running to Google for help.

Well, at least you can now count yourself covered there! Here’s a visual guide that shows you how to set a table like a gentleman or gentlelady, plus some tips for how to eat your meal and not look like you were raised in a barn. You’re welcome, and bon appétit.

It’s obvious, you don’t even need to use your brain when tying shoelaces. Look back up, I said most b-o-r-i-n-g a while ago when I mentioned lacing shoes up. But I will take that back. Why? Because when I saw the post from Diply featuring videos of lacing up shoes artistically, I realize how intricate, complicated, and creative it is to lace up shoes. That is if you do it like the way we do it on the featured videos.
