When was the last time you looked up the label on your favorite shirt? For most of us the labels on the clothes exist just to show the size and name of its manufacturer, apart from being pesky.
For the uninitiated, these labels also carry care instructions for your garment. So, it’s important to pay heed to them if you want your favorite clothes to keep looking good as new. The instructions mostly come in form of symbols that are cryptic at best if you’ve never paid attention to them.
The labels carry instructions for wash, bleach, dry, iron and dry clean. This infographic by Oakwood Cleaners explains what each of those symbols mean and the care required.
The next time mom is away, doing laundry will be a breeze!
