The reality is, the amount of water we need varies depending on our metabolism, lifestyle and location. A great way to ensure your body is getting enough water is by using a device called the Hug.

There are two things at work here. First, a smart band that attaches to your water bottle monitors the amount of water you have and sends information to a smartphone app. Using bluetooth technology, the device tells you how much water you’ve been drinking and how much you’ll need to stay optimally hydrated.

The contraption is wireless and fits on most water bottles. Charging the essential tool is easy and can be done through a USB port.
