At one point or another, we’ll all go through a bad break up, but all that pain doesn’t mean we have to just sit there and feel miserable for weeks on end until we find someone new. When you’re going through a break up, try the following to help your recovery move along faster so you can feel better and get back to your regular life again in no time:

  • Have a pity party. But don’t let it last forever. Deal with your loss, cry if you need to and then comfort yourself by calling your best friend and enjoying some ice cream or chocolate.
  • Accept It. If things didn’t work out, then there was probably a good reason. Your break up might be sad now, but in the long run, you’ll probably be glad not to be with that person.

There are more great tips at the link and don’t forget to throw on some tunes as well. Start with sad songs and then move on to empowering music that will help you go on with your life.
