A CCTV camera at the Thornhill Safari Lodge in South Africa has picked up astonishing footage of an elephant picking up bottles and pieces of rubbish, before carefully disposing of them in the garbage can.
Elephants are highly intelligent and gentle creatures. They can feel a wide range of emotions, including playfulness, anger and compassion. They are also known to grieve and mourn the loss of elephants from their herd.
As well as feeling a broad range of emotions, elephants are also pretty crafty; they are known to use tools, such as sticks and branches, as fly-swatters.
The video is a great example of some of the amazing things that happen in nature.
