With the wave of anti-feminism that has risen from the darkest corners of the internet, many people seem to have forgotten — or perhaps never understood in the first place — that feminism’s goals aim to help everyone. Including men. Most of the misogynistic ideology embedded in our culture that women are seeking to dismantle is also harmful to men. Misogyny creates false ideas of how different genders should behave, and what violating those ideas supposedly says about someone. Sexism and misogyny are everyone’s problems, because they affect us all.
People have spent so much time trying to take down feminists online that they’ve forgotten what feminism is really trying to accomplish. This brilliant comic by artist blogger Razzy perfectly illustrates why feminism needs to be everyone’s fight.
