Too often we take our basic human senses for granted because we’ve never known a life without any of them. For this little boy, named Lachlan, his life started without his sense of hearing. At seven months old, baby Lachlan finally received his first hearing aid. His reaction to experiencing a world with sound for the very first time is truly wonderful, and also reminds us of the many ways sound shapes our world and our relationships. The reaction of the baby’s parents as their son is finally able to hear will keep you feeling warm and fuzzy all day.
