You wouldn’t expect most people who only just turned 30 to have genuinely savvy advice on life itself. Ryan Allis might be an exception to that expectation. At said tender age of 30, Allis has already founded and sold a company, iConnect, for a whopping $170 million. Like so many wildly successful entrepreneurs and start-up CEOs seem to do, he dropped out of Harvard Business School and has had rapid success as an entrepreneur in the years since.
His insights are at times bizarre or simplistic, which he has received criticism for. However, there is some genuinely good advice to be had in this monster of a slideshow Allis released to mark his recent August birthday. Even if some of Allis’s insights have been said by others before him, reminding ourselves of advice we’ve heard but forgot or lost faith in is valuable. So without further ado, here’s Ryan Allis’s behemoth of a collection on what he learned from his 20s.
