Every day, we make decisions in our lives. Some are easy decisions such as whether to turn left or right, while some are harder than the others such as the question of switching jobs or not. Sometimes, when it is a hard decision to make, we find ourselves frozen and unable to make a move towards a decision. Why? Because we are scared and grippened by fear. This leaves us stuck in the middle of a dilemma. Follow our advice below in order to make decision-making an easier and smarter process.

How do we get over fear so we can make a decision?

You should make a list of all your fears and ask yourself what the worst thing is that could happen if your fears come true. Also, ask yourself what you would do if they do come true. Have a plan for if the worst case scenario happens. You need to kill the fear down by being prepared for it. Identify the fear and plan on what to do if your fear does happen.

On the other hand, you should also think about what happens if your fears do not happen. What would you do and how will you deal with it? Through this preparedness, you transfer your fear’s control over your decision-making to a more rational and logical you.
