As much as we try to eat healthy, it’s a fact that it can be harder when trying to eat on the go. The temptation to just pick something up is strong and with one bite, our diet and healthy attempts can be thrown out the window—but we’re not alone.
In fact, eating out is no longer something we do only on special occasions. 43% of us will now eat out at least once a week, according to a report by Morgan Stanley.[1] This can have a big impact on our diet and our wallet.
The latest infographic from Water Elephant has looked into how our eating habits have changed and which generations find it important to buy healthy food. It’s good news for millennials, in fact. Millennial eating habits are changing the game when it comes to healthy eating, which is pretty interesting. Whilst millennials are more than 2 times as likely to grab a snack between meals than other generations, they’re also more likely to shop at speciality health food shops.
Hopefully, the below infographic will have some necessary ‘food for thought’ and help change all of our instincts when it comes to eating healthy.
