The internet is a great tool that, used in the right way, can enhance the way children learn and interact with the world. However, parents need to be aware of the potential dangers of overusing technologies or making incorrect use of them. This infographic visualises some fascinating statistics about cyber security as well as some hacks for parents and tutors.

Cyberbullying is one of today’s most alarming issues. According to the i-Safe Foundation, 1 in 3 young people have experienced cyberthreats online and 81% of young people think bullying online is easier to get away with than bullying in person. Based on research, only 1 in 10 victims will inform a parent or trusted adult of their abuse.
