Sleep is important. An average adult is reported to need 8 hours of sleep every night but when you’re a part of the constant world of business, that can sometimes be a little bit hard.

Any business traveller will be able to tell you of stories involving jet lag and uncomfortable nights on a plane, but for those who are always on the go for business there are some solutions to your sleeping woes.

The latest infographic from Sleepy People has found out 13 of the best sleep hacks that are going to transform the lives of business travellers. For example, if you’re only on a short visit for less than 48 hours, then it’s recommended to remain on home time rather than trying to adjust to a new time zone. Not only will this temporarily alter your perception of time but it’ll also mean you’ll be able to step back into ‘normal’ proceedings when you return home.

Another suggestion is to book in advance an executive lounge at the departure or layover airport. This will help you step out of the busy surroundings of the airport and let you have some peace and quiet to have a sleep. Many executive lounges even have dedicated the sleep rooms that can make the experience even better.

Check the infographic out below and next time you set off on your business travels, be sure to follow the 13 tips.
