“Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.” — Helen Keller

How can some people reach their goals, apparently without any struggle, and still have a relaxed smile on their face? Have you ever thought about it? It seems that reaching goals and getting excellent results is a piece of cake for them.

The key to excellence is our attitude towards it. You see, the first step towards excellence is believing that we can reach it. It’s thinking “Ok, I can! And I’ll demonstrate it.”

The second step is thinking “It’s time to try!”

“Obstacles do not block the path, they are the path.” — Anonymous

Your attitude towards the obstacles that may interfere has a critical role as well. We must get used to being patient and always find that one thing that motivates us enough to never give up. It’s crucial that we learn to tolerate obstacles and those moments when things don’t go the way we expected.

This positive mental process is simpler than it sounds, and it’s represented in the Motivation Flowchart below from youperfect.org. Enjoy it and don’t hesitate to share it with your friends and colleagues!
