Leadership isn’t just all control, it is more influence and lead by example. A leadership where there is just control from leader and no input from the group or team is a bad one as it doesn’t allow the group to help and is known as a dictatorship. Leadership is similar to control but not the same as leadership motivates and rather influences the team than controls and orders them around.
