Make sellers shop for your business

ShopRiot is a website that creates a reverse auction. Rather than buyers bidding on products, sellers bid for your business. Here’s how it works: you create a new listing which includes the product and the maximum price you are willing to pay, then sellers enter bids to see who can provide the product at the lowest cost. When you are satisfied with the lowest price offered, you purchase the item from the seller who offered the lowest price.

It seems to us that many online shopping and auction sites today force consumers to try to figure out how to get what they want at a reasonable price. In fact, some of these sites make consumers compete with each other or work to get deals because the sites value their relationship with sellers too much. We like sellers - they sell us things(!) - but we like good value more.
