If you find yourself needing some AAA batteries but only have a 9Volt available, or you need some D-Cells and only have C’s lying around – here are the solutions:
9V to AAA
Rip open the 9V casing with some pliers and retrieve the ‘AAAA’ battery cells, which will fit in most AAA battery slots (remote control etc).
C to D Cell
Grab those C Cells and throw them in your device with a few extra quarters. This will make up for their smaller size while carrying the power.

That C to D hack is cool, but I doubt I’m alone in saying that the 9V to AAA hack seems a little scary to me. It’s probably safe, but why not just walk to the store?
Hope this does nt over energize the remote control of the locking systems
This is so cool.. I already opened up a 9V. The quarter thing I still have to try. I can’t remember the last time I had some C batteries laying around. :)
Uhhh, is this safe? I prefer to just stock up on batteries when the hurricane tax cut in Fl is on.
Input on the iPad, to put it bluntly, is a drag. For short replies and quick edits to documents it works fine, but if you need to pound out an essay for school, proposal for work, or even just a nice email to your mother, the onscreen keyboard just doesn’t do it.
