A peek at a CEO’s office

I am always drawn to articles that give you a glimpse into the life of a CEO. This week The Scottsdale Times wrote a report on Bob Parsons’ office. Bob Parsons, for those who don’t know, is the founder and CEO of Godaddy.com. Godaddy.com has 1100 employees and does over $100 million in an annual sales revenue. You might know Godaddy.com best from their unforgettable Superbowl commercials. In addition to being a CEO, Bob maintains the most popular blog of all CEOs in the world.

Thirty-five years ago, Parsons was a young man serving in Vietnam and had never heard of a computer. After being awarded the Purple Heart and Cross of Gallantry, Parsons went to work in a steel mill near his family in Boston. Years later, he bought an early personal computer as a hobby. The self-taught entrepreneur has since turned his hobby and utilitarian business approach into one of the most recognizable and successful Internet companies in the world.
