New: Google’s My Maps

No longer do we have to rely on those nice mashups; Google have added the My Maps feature to Google Maps. Now you can customize your very own map with your own placemarks and directions to share or keep as reference.

Simply go to maps.google.com and you will find a My Maps tab next to Search Results. Here you can create a new map and begin plotting.

Nice Clean Map Hack

When you go through the whole pinning your target location, there’s a new step of adding comments in an easy-clean box, a few saves later, and you get a fairly short URL.
