    Litemind’s idea about ideas: if you need to come up with ideas, don’t jsut brainstom until you have enough, sit down and come up with 100 ideas. Some will stink, but there’ll be some good ones you wouldn’t have come up with if you hadn’t been pushed.

      I like this idea.
      I remember reading about a strip cartoonist who did a similar trick. He’d sometimes make himself write alternate punchlines to each comic strip, often coming up with something better than the original gag.
