How nice, all those great books that Peter McWilliams put out in the 90s are now available for nothing at his website!
Titles like Everything We Wish We Had Learned About Life In School — But Didn’t and How To Survive The Loss Of A Love are all included with links to individual chapters and distributors.
Most of what Peter writes is quite brief and free-flowing. Have a look through the list and find something you’d like another perspective on.
The biggest lie we tell ourselves in the area of action is, “I’ll do it later.” As C. Northcote Parkinson said, “Delay is the deadliest form of denial.”
All of My Books Online for Free - [PeterMcWilliams]

Peter McWilliams passed away in 2000. His books have been available on his site since the first edition of their publication. He was way ahead of the “open content” movement.
McWilliams’s books are wonderful. I go back to them all the time for refreshment. It is interesting to note that McWilliams was used and abused by his mentor John-Roger, who claims to be Christ incarnate and leads a very iffy cult. On the original books, McWilliams was coerced by John-Roger to put his name on the books in order that J-R could make money even though he contributed nothing to the writing of the texts. McWilliams wrote about J-R and the cult in his book “Life 102: What to Do When Your Guru Sues You.” Interestingly, David Allen, author of “Getting Things Done,” is also an acolyte of John-Roger and his cult. He thanks J-R in his acknowledgements. The cult uses their “time-management” and life skills books and seminars to lure people. However, Peter McWilliams left the cult and his books are still valuable.
Unfortunately, McWilliams died a terrible death, choking on his own vomit. He’d been battling cancer and AIDS, and was using marijuana as an anti-nausea med; when the government forbade him to do so, he choked to death because the prescription nausea meds didn’t help him.
A sad end for a brilliant man.
This is nice. I’m sure he would’ve been happy to know that more people will be able to appreciate his books.

Ironically, they are no longer available free online as he had intended for them to be. All links point to amazon now. :(
