timeXchange.net is a very robust online time-logging and expense-tracking application. timeXchange lets you manage your time and expenses on various projects. This looks to be a great option if you are self-employed and want to track your time. timeXchange is also a great option if you own or manage a business, because timeXchange can be used by management to track your employees’ time and expenses, as well.

Use timeXchange.net to create a secure business community of workers, employers and clients to easily manage, route, collect and approve time & expenses.

For a tool that appears to be built around business purposes, the T&Cs make odd reading:

    “4. Limited License; Permitted Uses.
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license (a) to access and use the Site strictly in accordance with this Agreement; (b) to use the Site solely for internal, personal, non-commercial purposes; and (c) to print out discrete information from the Site solely for internal, personal, non-commercial purposes and provided that you maintain all copyright and other policies contained therein.”

The ‘non-commercial’ thing for what are obviously commercial tools seems strange, to me.

You may want to note that their privacy policy says they will sell your email, address, and phone number to 3rd parties. You’ll have to call, mail, or email them to opt out.

Thank you for pointing out that oversight on our part. The “privacy policy” is being updated immediately, and WE WILL NOT SELL or GIVE ANY USER INFORMATION TO ANY THIRD-PARTY. This includes email addresses, phone numbers, names and company information.

I apologize for this not being caught sooner and thank both posters for bringing this to our attention.
