In this modernized world with manufacturing companies providing jobs to employees at all hours of the night, it is no wonder that some people are having trouble getting enough sleep. As a series of recent studies documented by Health Testing Centers showed, people who worked irregular schedules had a far higher risk of heart attack or stroke . The reason for this is not the work itself – indeed, most of the time it is easier / more mundane at night. The problem is the lack of sleep and therefore, the lack of hormonal regulation.

Anyone who works the night should make sure to get ample rest in a completely dark room. In addition, receiving proper sunlight and taking vitamin D supplements may help to mitigate the risks of working irregular hours.
