What-To-Wear Calculator
Ever get an invitation with a dress code specification like ’smart casual’ and stare at your wardrobe wondering what fits that description? You’re not alone.
To make things easier, DressCodeGuide.com does all the thinking for you by suggesting items of clothing for each dress code.
For instance, if you were going to a corporate event with ‘business casual’ as the dress code – during a summer evening in the USA [or Canada] and you were a male – a collared dress shirt would be required, long sleeve, without cuffs.

They don’t have the code for my wedding.

For a business casual environment, the site came up with “Pants: Good quality pants” and “Chinos: Good quality”. Wow.
The site was one of your kids’ school projects wasn’t it?

No don’t get it.
What remains of the British Commonwealth is rather different in its dress code from Britain – and thats despite the temperature differences.
The site fails to mention religious requirements, assuming that whitees/christians in England/USA/Australia don’t need to observe them. But business happens with all sorts of people. Offend them and you will not do business.
Sorry guys, waste of bandwidth

I think that the dress code guide serves to give one an adequate idea of what is, and is not appropriate for a particular dress code. Religious requirements are unfortunately not mentioned, but it’s a good frame of reference all the same. I wrote a blog entry on the dress code primer and I do mention beach weddings Bryan!
