What you eat is what you are. Eating foods that are harmful for the body leads to ailments, low energy levels, depression and can even be fatal. Following diets that are lop sided like the Atkins (which recommends only protein consumption) or the South Beach Diet only leads to temporary weight loss and almost permanent damage in terms of health and energy.
What you really need is a balanced diet that includes carbohydrates, proteins, fats as well as fiber to ensure a healthy and long life. Aging is the process that occurs when the body cells fall prey to external elements and wither off. If the body cells remain well oxygenated and healthy aging can be postponed. Certain foods can help in preventing cell degeneration.
Below is a list of the top ten anti aging foods that help regain vigor and vitality.

I’m a big fan of Avocados as they really are great in lots of foods. I suggest trying some on pizza.
I enjoyed reading this. The bottom line is it’s all about the proper balance between vitamins, minerals, and water.
I just recently purchased a yogurt maker and have enjoyed making my own yogurt from milk for a few weeks, although my fiance who isn’t trusting of my skills in sanitizing the materials hasn’t jumped on the bandwaggon yet. I eat a little of all of these EXCEPT for avocados, they make me nauseous for some reason. and my family’s mexican; go figure :oP Great post

Pizza! That definitely is not among rejuvenating and anti-ageing foods!
Quoting Jose: I eat a little of all of these EXCEPT for avocados, they make me nauseous for some reason.
Substitute them with dates and figs. They are equally nutritious.
Excuse me while I go turn back the hands of time…
Blueberries and Fish should be on the list. In our search these kept coming up over and over again. We focused more on foods that aid brain function but many have aging benefits also.
I disagree with the recommendation about water. This is a common health myth, nothing more. It’s a modern invention. That doesn’t mean water isn’t good for you – it’s great. But there’s no rule or daily quota to follow – the only rule to follow is thirst. The body knows when to drink, just as hunger is a signal to eat. Often we snack and eat so much we don’t know when we are truly hungry. It is the same for water – we drink so much soda, powerade, and endless lattes, we aren’t mindful of true thirst. You might only drink 2 or 3 glasses one day because you ate mostly vegetables, which are largely comprised of water content. The next day, you may thirst for 10 or 12 glasses. Eat natural foods, avoid flavored, sugary beverages, and your body will let you know when to drink water.
I agree about the blueberries and fish. This is an excellent list!

Im Alice, 45 yr old and fighting with wrinkles since a few years.
Here’s what I have tried:-
1) FacePacks
2) Natural remedies ( carrot, pumpkin, and all the other mixed combinations.
3) Chemical face packs.
But these wrinkles kept coming back.
Consulted a dermatologist he prescribed a cream and in the first week it didnt give any results. A week later on the second visit, he changed to cream to lifecell, and gave me facial exercises to do..
Here’s what a quick search returned:-

The exercise and the cream worked well in combination. They dont reinvent things totally, but I got a much more comprehensive result than all other things I have tried.
I have also started using a very mild soap,if you can, get a kid’s soap for your skin.
