The plethora of diet and exercise tips floating around the internet makes it pretty much impossible to determine which ones are true and which ones aren’t. I’ve read some of the most outlandish claims on blogs and even sites like Pinterest that have lead me to think “There’s no way that’s true! …right?”
But fear not, my fitness-focused friends! This infographic will help you set the record straight, once and for all. Some of the myths it busts have logical responses — I’ve always wondered how cardio machines were able to count the calories I was burning, so I took that information with a grain of salt — but some were a little more shocking. For example, it claims that low intensity exercises aren’t necessarily the best way to burn fat, but even my high school gym coach told us that was the best way to shed excess weight!
