The trick that goes — smash a head of garlic with a knife and you’ll peel garlic fast — is passe! The 2013 way, believe me, doesn’t even use a knife. And you can do it in 10sec flat! Promise.

Let’s face it, peeling garlic is a pain in the neck. It takes forever to separate garlic cloves from each other, and the garlicky smell stays with your finger even after washing.

No worries, this video will teach you how to peel a head of garlic in 10 seconds. No kidding. I did not believe it myself before watching this video.

…And the steps? Here we go.

On a chopping board, smash a head of garlic with the heel of your hand. Get two bowls with the same size. Each bowl should have exactly the same size.

Now that the garlic cloves are scattered on the chopping board, put them in one bowl. Cover the bowl with the other, and start shaking. No, not your body. I mean the cloves of garlic in the bowl. Shake them vigoroulsy. In 10sec flat, or even less, all the cloves will be ready for cooking. You don’t believe me? Go, watch this video. See it to believe it!
